Font Atlastina

The font created is based on an ancient stone tablet which can be found in the Cathedral of Trier. It was used as a starting point for the further design and resembles fonts used in old maps, hence the name Atlastina. The font seems very historic, strong and confident. The shape of the letters was matched to one another, but only up to a certain degree, so that the individuality of the letters was retained. The resulting font is presented in a self bound book. It provides information about the design process, the appeal and the application possibilities of the font.
