"fundamental"
The board game "fundamental" should give the player a first impression of which contributions have been included in UNESCO's "Memory of the World"-Register and where they are located in the world. The goal of the game is to protect the documents from dangers like wars, natural disasters, vandalism or memory loss. It aims to raise a sense of responsibility, because we all need to ensure the protection and transmission of our documentary heritage. In the game, all players put up a construct from individual memory building blocks. They built them on top of each other; just as we can build from generation to generation on the experience and knowledge - the foundation - of our ancestors.
